Discovery, Creativity, and Community
You’ll find it all at The Sprout School, which has one of its three Richmond locations at the Children’s Museum Downtown.
Using the Reggio Emilia teaching methods, The Sprout School, owned and operated by the YWCA, embraces active, early childhood education for children between 18 months and five years of age — an approach that encourages children to discover their own answers, rather than simply being provided with information. Here, the importance of play is at the center of the curriculum, due to its impact on promoting problem-solving and reasoning skills.
The Sprout School offers financial aid, allowing all families to apply, regardless of income level.
