Snow Much Fun!

Let's play in the snow! Homemade snow that is. Learn how to make snow at home, and who knows, maybe it will be so "cold" you'll start dancing like a penguin!

Materials:

  • 1/2 Cup of Conditioner
  • 3 Cups of Baking Soda
  • Measuring Cups
  • Bowl

Instructions:

Time needed: 30 minutes

  1. Measure 3 cups of baking soda and pour them into a bowl

  2. Measure and pour 1/2 cup of conditioner into the bowl

  3. Using your hands, mix the conditioner and baking soda together
    TIP: It should feel like kinetic sand

  4. Have fun and use your imagination!

Other Ways to Use Homemade Snow

  • Take toy trucks and cars to make tire tracks in the “snow”
  • Build a mini “snow” fort or “snow” sculpture
  • Practice letters and numbers by writing them in the “snow”
  • Separate toy animals into arctic and non-arctic animals, then play in the “snow”
