This Halloween, Treat Kids to a Great Book!
Join our virtual book drive and sweeten a kid's life in a lasting way!
Published on October 15, 2020
We know people LOVE books and LOVE to share that love of books with children.
The Children’s Museum is excited to be a part of Books are BOO-tiful, a community-wide book drive, designed to provide warm, snuggly moments to families with young children (ages birth to 5) who are experiencing stress and hardship in the face of the pandemic. Please consider donating some of the dollars you would have used to buy candy for Halloween to help bring joy and learning to a young child! Your contribution—of any amount—will offer just a little comfort to both parents and children as we struggle together during these unprecedented times.
The virtual book drive will take place October 15-31.
Through our bulk purchase power, we are able to save 50-60% off retail pricing. Your donation dollars will go much further and will allow us to purchase many more books!
Click here and select the amount you would like to contribute ($100, $50, $25, $15, $10, Custom Amount)
Please share this flyer and website link far and wide and help us “treat” as many children in Central Virginia as possible this Halloween and Harvest season.DOWNLOAD THE FLYER
