Materials:
– Plain paper
– Colored pencils or crayons
– Scissors
– Glue
– Construction paper (Optional)
– Leaves
Step 1: Look around your yard or in your neighborhood for different shaped leaves with different textures.
Step 2: Find a hard surface to work on at home, take one of the leaves you found and place it under the plain paper, smooth down the paper over the leaf with your hands, and choose a colored pencil or crayon to use.
Step 3: Place one hand on the paper to secure the leaf underneath and start rubbing over it with the color you chose (make sure you tilt the colored pencil or crayon at an angle for best results).
Step 4: Repeat Steps 2 and 3 with other leaves and colors (you can even color over the leaf with two different colors like I did in the video!)
Step 5: Use scissors to cut out the rubbed leaves you created
