Due to the ongoing pandemic, the event will take place outdoors in the fenced-in areas and parking lot in front of the Downtown Children’s Museum. Tent coverage will be provided. We also ask that all vendors and guests wear a face mask when not eating or drinking at the event.

Vaccination or a negative COVID test (within 72 hours) are required of all guests.

Join us for an outdoor celebration at the Children’s Museum of Richmond’s Broad Street location on Friday, September 10 from 7 PM to 11 PM as we celebrate the last four decades of play! Our grown-up 40th Birthday Celebration will take us on a trip down memory lane through the Museum’s 40-year legacy. Guests will enjoy live entertainment, games, delicious food, adult beverages, and spirited fundraising activities! We will adhere to social distancing and all other COVID-19 safety protocols. 2020 was a very difficult year for our organization, but CAN’T WAIT to celebrate with you in 2021!

Proceeds from the event will support our nonprofit mission to inspire growth in all children by engaging families in learning through play.
