Seussical the Musical with SPARC – Downtown
Tuesday July 16 | 2:00 pm-3:30 pm
“Seussical the Musical” performed by SPARC (School of the Performing Arts in the Richmond Community) is a vibrant and energetic production that captures the whimsical essence of Dr. Seuss’s stories. The musical, featuring the beloved characters of Horton the Elephant, the Cat in the Hat, and the Whos of Whoville, weaves together a series of adventures centered around themes of friendship, loyalty, and community.
SPARC’s rendition of “Seussical” showcases the talents of young performers, often ranging from rising 4th to 8th graders, who participate in extensive summer rehearsals culminating in community-wide performances. This approach not only highlights the performers’ skills in acting, singing, and dancing but also emphasizes SPARC’s commitment to fostering artistic growth in a supportive environment.
