Come be a part of one of Richmond’s best holiday traditions – Legendary Santa at the Children’s Museum!
We are now accepting applications for seasonal staff to support the magic of Legendary Santa in the iconic character roles of Snow Queen and Elf. Both characters are Santa’s helper and help ensure the Legendary Santa experience is enjoyable for children and families.
Responsibilities:
All characters are responsible for making every child’s experience with Legendary Santa joyful and memorable. The Snow Queen and Elf greet children and families in a pleasant manner and are excited and cheerful when interacting with guests. Staff should remain in character at all times! Costumes are provided.
Qualifications:
Successful applicants will have acting experience and experience working with children. Applicants should be able to sit up straight for long periods of time and go from sitting to standing positions frequently. Applicants should be able to speak clearly and enunciate well. Applicants should be at least 17 years old and able to pass a background check.
Hours/Schedule:
Shifts vary between 7AM and 9PM from November 29 – December 24. Team members can expect to work 15-40 hours per week.
Pay:
$15 per hour. All Team Members who finish the season in good standing will receive a complimentary year-long Family Membership to the Museum.
