Art Workshop Felt It Out: Mask Making & Storytelling

Students will begin by observing Nastassja Swift’s “Tickled Pink” felt installation and learn how it was made. After we will talk about storytelling and how costume is important to telling a story. Students will then plan out a mask design that relates to something they love such as animal, food, color, or season. Students will learn the needle felting process and then felt their design on a precut mask backing.
Cost: $18 per adult/child pair. $8 for additional siblings.
For children 3 and up. Masks required.
